Tuesdays with Laurie: Meet Other Makers
Free! Drop in 1:00 to 3:00 pm on most Tuesdays all year. Location: Rec Centre, Lower Lounge (the building directly behind the Art Gallery). Occasionally, the meetings may be held at other locations. Those dates and locations will be listed here in advance.
If you love making things and are interested in what others are making, this is an opportunity to meet other creative people, share ideas, and network. Bring your own project to work on. Beginners welcome!
So far we have had people working with polymer clay, collage, beading, jewellery, watercolour painting, rug hooking, drawing, needle felting, fibre art, doll making, embroidery, crochet, knitting, spinning, quilting and sculpture. If your creative energy needs a boost, this is the place to find it.
